THANK YOU!

Thank you our British friends in Charlton-on-Otmoor CE Primary School for the great meeting we had! Pupils had a chance to make friends, learn about English schools, lifestyle, culture.... and improve their speaking skills. Teachers came back to school with lots of new ideas and great memories of our meetings, chats, trips... Thank you very much to all teachers, parents, pupils and especially to Mike Wisbach - the Head Teacher.
A few photos to prove what a wonderful partnership we are.

See you soon :-)

Building medieval castles in Poland.

Oliwia with her castle.

Przemyśl castle

Beautiful models of medieval castles were designed and made by Class 5 pupils in Szkoła Podstawowa nr 11 in Przemyśl, Poland. It was History homework. Pupils used a variety of techniques and a lot of different materials. Parents and grandparents helped to build castles. The authors demonstrated a remarkable creativity and great talent and created true works of art. Some of the castles were copies of existing buildings some just a case of imagination.

You can see more castles on our school website.

Drawing medieval initials.

In the Medieval Times initials graced the page of manuscript books. Initials could be figurative or ornamental patterns such as the plants. 6b class students designed and drew some initials. Some based on traditional medieval designs, some are modern ideas. Finished works were shown during the medieval festival, along with albums about medieval times prepared by students in the lessons of history.

Science Lesson in Alchemist`s workshop

Alchemy can be considered a direct ancestor of modern chemistry. Pupils of classes 5a and 6b in Szkoła Podstawowa nr 11 in Przemyśl and their Science teacher Ms Małgorzata Jagustyn had an interesting lesson of Science in the Alchemist`s workshop. They prepared decorations and costumes and produced the film.
